Lunchtime Living
May 10, 2010. End with a bang. AEJ.

Last night I really meant to make something to bring for lunch today since I have $73.84 to my name until I get paid on Friday. However, right around 6:30 Titanic started on TBS and it turns out that even after 13 years no scene is worth missing. Well not entirely true; the opening bit with the old lady who wore the heart of the ocean to the Oscars is fine to miss but I wasn’t hungry yet. So while I was forced to eat old leftovers and a brownie sundae, I did get to show off my everlasting knowledge of the script to my sister’s dog Sammy.

WHAT: Boar’s Head maple honey turkey (my favorite) sandwich from local deli with some Pop Chips and carrots (not pictured). According to my sister, Boars Head is so Gelson’s circa 2001 and I need to realize Applegate is the “turkey of the now.”  Just not ready to make that transition yet.

ENJOYEMENT SCALE: Today’s lunch gets a 7. But last night’s Titanic viewing session with Sammy (pictured below) gets a solid 10! He too wonders why Jack didn’t try harder to get on the floating door with Rose in the end. There was plenty of room.
